Unless you're a Wizard then you could just solo one of the not immune to invisibility or ability damage lv 50+ creatures by lv 7 and skyrocket up to epic levels with XP left over for personal demiplane crafting.

Wouldn't that wizard of yours get, like, four casts of invisibility before running out?

Easy, you just buy a wand. A new one should have 50 charges. By the time you run out, you'll probably have enough levels to meteor storm the entire plane.

if you research your prey you'd only need 1 casting of invisibility and 1 casting of summon undead 4 or shivering touch per critter to take out 85% of the creatures and a single one would be enough XP to hit epic.

Ah. As a non-dnd player, I didn't know that spell existed.

(that is to say, it's not present in the SRD)

"Except for a couple of things"
First, you can't level up more than once. If you gain enough to do so you do not gain the second level, you gain enough that 1 more would gain you that second level.

Second, if your spell fails, you will then be turned into a puddle of quivering jelly by the angry monster.

Though they are quite rare, you also need to be ware of the pirates that sometimes happen into the plane as well...

...if I knew how to post links on here it would be to the two crossover episodes. XD

Funny, my first time actually playing d20 instead of just making characters -started- at ECL12. And I'd talked the DM into running a gestalt game...
