Gotta love fighters. They're not fancy or flashy, but they get the job done. Nothing wrong with a meat and potatoes character.

To be fair though, Fighters get some of the flashiest feats around.
They can shout "can't touch this" like MC Hammer.
They can move across the fight faster than the flash.
Oh, and of course they can unleash so many attacks per second that reality should break.

Not only that, but they can theoretically kill everyone while moving faster than the speed of light to circumnavigate the globe, on foot, leaving behind millions of corpses. All in the span of six seconds.

In short: Fighters are the Chuck Norris of D&D.

"Seriously, Chuck Norris?"
*Checks calendar*

Yep, it's the year 2014. Are people still making Chuck Norris-jokes?
Silentking 21st May 2014, 1:10 PM edit delete reply

Actually Fighters are the Special Ed clap nicely because we're sorry you guys of Dnd, In any by the rules games the ability to inflict melee damage to a target becomes largely irrevelent by lv 5 and completely irrevelent by lv 7 and Fighters aren't even in the top 10 best melee base classes.
DeS_Tructive 22nd May 2014, 6:27 AM edit delete reply
Hey, we never said they'd be useful - we only said "flashy".
Malroth 22nd May 2014, 4:40 PM edit delete reply

the fighters in your books must be VERY different than the 2skillpoints per level/no class features/needs all stats at 18/rendered obselete by lv 4 fighter thats in everybody else's books

One of my friends has a history of "optimizing" Fighters and Warriors, to the point where one of his regular DMs relegated him to the position of DM's Mouthpiece.
