Tiny Kari! It's adorable, I want to hug her. :D
I'm really interested to find out about them. But I assume you've been getting such a request often enough.

If I had a nickel for every PC I've encountered with a "captured by slavers" backstory, I could start playing Warhammer 40K.
Not that it's a bad trope, but I'm pretty bored with weaving it into my campaigns.

Maybe you should Dm for me sometime then. XD. My characters tend to be written with some really tragic backstories but not once has being captured by slavers been a part of them.

What do you think about parents and several others murdered, the children taken, and raised as assassins for the purpose of killing one of the only known epic-level mages. Then someone infiltrating the group takes you away to start using you, without knowing that you've now started assassinating important people belonging to the organization.

It's kind of like captured by slavers, but more like kidnapped, turned into an assassin starting the age of 5, and training for many years, before somehow swapping sides, and not learning about it for something like a year?

That sounds extremely awesome. Mind if I use it sometime?
