I think the dragon and Eli would have made great friends, too bad there's a gunlislinger/paladin within 20 feet who can probably turn him into confetti in one round.

Wouldn't be so sure, remember this is the killer GM who seems to take pleasure in overpowering his encounters. So while I DO agree they are gonna kick its ass, I don't know if the dragon will quite be killed.

Still plenty of possibility that Eli is gonna find the dragon and become best buddies with it! And together they will burn the world in the name of their deity Santa Claus!

As that guy who was never big into D&D/similar game systems, I still have a hard time remembering how many attacks things get in the system's combat rounds. If that makes no sense, my first pen & paper RPG system was GURPS 3e, so I am used to stuff like one-second combat rounds. There are still ways to get multiple attacks per round, especially for high point total (think high level) characters, but most folks (and many creatures) only get one attack with a Ready weapon if they still want to aim well, have a chance at defending, etc.

So yeah I was going somewhere with this:

Even though I know about the system differences, I still got a hilarious mental image of that dragon trying to perform all six attacks in a one-second GURPS combat round.

it's the Ultimate attack, that only Dragons can pull off.

They call it: Randomly Flailing about like a madman- attack

All you need to remember to account for that difference is that rounds are 6 seconds in DnD. One attack per GURPS combat round is six attacks per DND combat round.

In Dnd you get, One manufactured weapon or Unarmed strike per 5 points of Base Attack bonus, One offhand attack with a Manufactured weapon or Unarmed strike per two weapon fighting feat you have, One extra attack of any kind if you're hasted and one extra attack from each ranged weapon if you're using rapid shot. If you have natural weapons they're each usable once per round unless they're being used to make Manufactured or Unarmed strikes.
