When all else fail, just murder. It solves all your problems, and the side effects can be fixed with more murder.

Ugh... one person I've played with before, and don't play with anymore was a firm believer in this methodology. Except it was a more general "Violence" solves all problems. We had many an argument outside of games.

One game I was the closest thing to a party face we had. I had to step away from the game for a little while to do something as we came upon the aftermath of a battle. Apparently they went and found a bunch of people checking corpses and stuff who then pointed spears at them and started saying something in an unknown language. Mr. Violence-is-always-the-answer decided that since they were pointing spears at him they were OBVIOUSLY hostile and cast an Acid Arrow at one. Battle erupts, I come back near the conclusion to find the party has obviously killed them all since they attacked after our mage decided to just melt one of them with acid. We of course shortly later get their words they were saying translated to the effect of "Who are you? What are you doing here?" That type of thing. So yeah... they murdered a bunch of people because he didn't like spears being pointed at the heavily armed group who came upon a recent battlefield.

I just didn't get along great with that guy.
