...wouldn’t healing an undead goat not be a good thing though? Since healing an undead would actually damage them or something?

It would be a good thing, because the cleric is the one who got headbutted by the goat, iirc.

Also Dragontrainer, it's been a few pages since the main effects were applied but the way that ability damage works is a bit different from the actual stat dropping. It only affects you per 2 points taken and doesn't actually reduce the scores. There's a lot of argument on whether this means you die at like con 12 instead of 14 for example, Drain is way more straightfoward.

I didn't even realize ability damage was different in Pathfinder. It's effectively the same, though, except for having to have even amounts of ability damage for it to matter. Everything those stats give you takes a penalty.
