Well they have one...you’d think they’d have more properly trained mooks here. I mean all they’d really have there is time to practice shooting arrows and wielding whatever is available to them waiting on...whatever.

Yes, but as everyone knows: Training is worthless in D&D/PF. It does nothing unless a DM/GM stops by to give exp of arbitrary value. Hence, since these guys are NPCs and not actively followed by a GM, outside of the one controlling the dungeon, it's impossible for them to level outside of killing adventurers, and their level is restricted to what the GM wants.

Yes, and the GM of the dungeon itself is Fowle, who it has been covered is kind of a psycho killer level difficulty GM. Little errors can obviously happen but we are dealing with a guy who wants to pit a SINGLE party against his ultimate pet dragon...and this is a doubled up party. 2.2 of a party if you count our ninja assassin lady.

He has an old school psyco killer gm mentality but poor system mastery. He doesn't know obvious tactics or monster abilities and makes obvious mistakes in spell loadouts, trap designs and encounter range. He wants to kill players in a brutal fashion but lacks the know how to actually pull it off. It would not surprise me if he had no idea on how a proper archer NPC should be built to properly do their job.
