The bone demons by themselves proabbly exceed a suitable challenge rating for the party without a high level spellcaster throwing fireballs at them. If anything, bowler cap is making the fight more balanced by attacking him.

What the heck was the CR for this supposed to be in the first place? I mean, traps aside we've had an entire bandit camp with an undead goat, a dragon zombie, an extremely high-level necromancer, and then a round 2 with the zombie and the necromancer complete with summoned creatures with NO REST to boot! I'm pretttttty sure this is well above a CR 5 or 6. Possibly even above a CR Munchkin.

There are several parties involved, some of which are ~ level 9 compared to the others CR 5-6... but the total CR of the encounter is 18~20.
Just the bone devils would be CR 11 (11.5?), a challenging but not impossible fight for the parties. However, as summoned creatures they are subsumed into the challenge rating of the caster. (Though if they weren't and gave xp, they'd give about 20k, about 1/5 of a CR 17 encounter)
Just the dragon alone is about CR 16-18, depending on specific details. I don't think we got a specific age confirmed, and he isn't the kind of thing that can be summoned with a spell so he's his own challenge rating. With 2 enemies of a given CR, CR goes up by 2 (that's also exactly how the experience works out anyway in pathfinder, on purpose).
TLDR- The CR wasn't supposed to make any sense for something players should actually have to face.

"acctually..."
while we don't know it's exact age, we know it's size was huge or larger considering the area of its slam attack. don't remember exact area, but it was atleast 15 feet

so it has to have been adult or older prior to it's undeath. nothing is known about it's later life, some assholes i have had dm me could have chosen to give the darn thing some other powerboosts as well. at least if it's supposed to be for the higher level party

... Was that a max damage crit with greater vital strike and full power attack, a different crit multiplier than I think, or is there something special going on here? Good job either way sworddude.
