I can't remember what the 'unconscious and dying' rules are for pathfinder, but generally taking enough falling damage afterwards will guarantee the kill.

Probably wouldn't make a splat sound then.
Or more relevantly, probably wouldn't be on the ground quite yet. I imagine they're more than 60 ft up.

Oh, dimensional dervish. I guess a full attack could work, though TBH I think the vital strike option is better... though with haste and the fact that he wouldn't miss the barrier... Hmm...

Vital Strike is much weaker then any other kind of full round action. All it does is double up on your dice numbers. If you deal 2d6+40, going up to 4d6 or 6d6 isn't worth it, not for the feats and not for the sacrifice when you could go with another full round option.
