I definately give more XP for the dangerous non combat creative solutions so Zero and Eli would get XP but everybody else would get more.

separate encounters. Zero gets the xp for the one guy he killed, Eli gets the xp for everybody he killed, with some bonus for creativity. Gotta nip the metagaming like "I threw a potion while these guys killed an army" in the bud somehow.

Well, if Shen is of the lawful alignment, probably. I think? We don't see HOW much he helped out and Shen could probably rule that he only got EXP for that one guy and still be following the rules. Personally I wouldn't let him, but that's because I hate reward gankers.
