I'm beginning to think that maybe it'd be a better idea to put this comic on hiatus and rebuild my buffer instead of making these comics last minute.

Sorry about this, but after thinking about it for a bit, I've decided to put this comic on a short hiatus. I'll be using this weekend to rebuild my buffer. Hopefully, I'll have the next page ready on Tues, Feb 13, 2018.

As much as I would hate to lose one of the few Tuesday comics that hold my interest, you should always take the time you need to. None of us want you to make and then be bound by a mistake or worse, get burned out.

True. There are many thursday comics though. I wouldn't mind skipping those until the buffer is back on track.

I always find it funny whenever someone assumes a spell like 'protection from evil' will apply to everything. Also, a bless, while not the *best* thing possible, is nothing to turn your nose up at. I mean, a Heroism *might* be a better choice assuming the party +hit is solid (especially against bandits as opposed to higher AC foes) but no one should ever turn their nose up at a +1 bonus.

Anyone have any stories about a time when a player got something that was pretty good but didn't realize how useful it was?

the only problem with bless is that it's morale based, and so many things can give you a morale bonus...

The Chessmaster
You'd think that it would be fairly obvious what made a dragon such a dangerous character. You'd probably be wrong, though.

See, one of my parties included a fairly classic dragon. Flying, fire breath, deadly claws... since she was focused on physical combat, she ended up being particularly good at grabbing people.

And then flying up a few hundred feet, dropping them for truly massive damage. Once she figured out that she could do that, it quickly became her go-to strategy for dealing with any enemy she couldn't kill in one hit.

Coincidentally, our GM started giving us adventures set indoors.

Well, do what you have to do. I enjoy the comic, but I'll be fine without it for a small hiatus.
