Sleep spells don't work on Elves, as I recall. They don't sleep.

Still immune to spell magic, yes. They do sleep in pathfinder though. They took out the 4 hour meditation stuff.

Why would the bandit be surprised that she's still hard to hit. Seems pretty clear that she's wearing heavy armor and that typically doesn't get a DEX bonus unless I'm forgetting something.

Full plate will still have a +1 dex bonus, but in Pathfinder a fighter can increase that maximum as well. If they were just at whatever their limit was, any decrease in dex will have less AC

Also we saw the stats a few pages ago and now she has a negative dex.
